B.A. English Core Course English / Science / Humanities / Arts / Commerce 50% in Aggregate & 45% in English OR 55% in English 40% in Aggregate OR 40% in English

B.Sc. Physics Core Course Physics & Mathematics Either 50% in Aggregate & 45% in Physics OR 55% marks in Physics & the student must have passed in all the papers separately in theory and practical as per the respective board/council pass marks 40% in Aggregate or 40% in Physics & the student must have passed in all the papers separately in theory and practical as per the respective board/council pass marks.
B.Sc. Chemistry Core Course Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics 50% in Aggregate & 45% in Chemistry OR 55% in Chemistry & A candidate shall be allowed to take up Honours in Chemistry if she has passed in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at the previous qualifying examination. Moreover, she has to pass to the aforesaid subjects in both theoretical and practical papers separately whenever applicable. 40% in Aggregate or 40% in Chemistry & A candidate shall be allowed to take up Honours in Chemistry if she has passed in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at the previous qualifying examination. 40% in aggregate or 40% in Economics / Business Economics including Business Mathematics & pass marks in Mathematics / Business Mathematics
B.Sc. / B.A.* Geography Core Course Geography 50% in Aggregate and 45% in subject OR 55% in Geography & 50%  marks in English in both, either case 40% in aggregate OR 40% in subject
Note: A candidate may take up core Course in the B.A in Geography and Mathematics without taking any generic elective subject from the Division of Science
B.Com. Core Course 1. Passed in Accountancy / Mathematics / Business Mathematics.
2. The word 'Subject' or 'Related Subject' denote the following subjects at Higher Secondary or any other equivalent examination as regular candidate - Accountancy, Business Economics including Business Mathematics, Business Organization, Mathematics, Business Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Business Studies, Office and Secretarial Practice, Financial Accounting, Elements of Cost Accountancy & Auditing, Book Keeping, Commerce, Cost Accountancy & Principle of Management, Commercial Law and preliminaries of Auditing, Costing and Taxation.
3. Passed in English having full marks not less than 100.
Minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate and 50% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination. Minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate or 40% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination
