Students of B.A./B.Sc./B.Com should note that in each paper, 10 marks have been earmarked for attendance under the new CBCS Rule as introduced by the University of Calcutta. Students who attend 60% or more but less than 75% of the total number of lectures delivered in a paper will score 6 marks in that paper, those attending 75% or more but less than 90% will score 8 marks and a student attending 90% and above in a paper will score full 10 marks in that paper. Students attending less than 60% of the total number of lecturers delivered in the subject will not be awarded any mark out of 10 marks in that subject.
