A student who is selected for enrolment in a particular course offered by the College will have to complete admission procedures and get herself registered within the notified time period.
Application for admission has to be made on the prescribed form obtained from the office of the Institute, on the designated days (Monday to Friday between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm and again from 1.30 p.m to 3.00 p.m, and Saturday, 10:00 am to 12:00 noon) only. Students may also apply online.
Application forms are non-transferable.
Form must be collected in the name of the applicant only.
Forms should be complete in all respect with colored passport size photo pasted firmly on appropriate box.
Cost of the Application Form is Rs. 1,300/- only. Online applicants can pay the money (Rs. 1,500/-) through NET Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card.
Only female candidates are eligible for admission to the Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics & Applied Nutrition (PGDDAN) courses.
Candidates must have good knowledge of the English language.
A student seeking admission to PGDDAN of the Institute must have passed B.Sc (Hons.) in Home Science, Home Science (specialization in Food & Nutrition), Food & Nutrition/Food Science & Nutrition Management, Food Science & Processing, Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics, Physiology, Bio-chemistry either from Jadavpur University or any other University recognized by Jadavpur University and must have at least 55% at the Bachelor’s level.
A candidate who has appeared in the examination at the under-graduate (degree) level may also apply in anticipation of the results, provided she produces her internal assessment showing the overall average marks obtained by her. The admission would be provisional subject to subsequent satisfaction of the admission criteria.
Foreign Students may be admitted as Jadavpur University norms.
Short-listed candidates will have to pay the fees only within the time specified in the merit list. Admission will be confirmed only after physical verification of all necessary documents (with the originals) by the college within the stipulated time after the publication of the merit list. Admission will be cancelled if this is not done within the time frame.
Students graduating from Universities other than Jadavpur University will have to submit their migration certificate within one month of being admitted to the M.Com Course; till then the admission will be considered provisional.
Eligible candidates for M.Com course would be short-listed based on the following criteria:
(marks obtained at the under-graduate level)
Any formal training in performing or visual arts and /or sports and /or participation in the same at regional / state / national / international levels
