ADMISSION GUIDELINES FOR THE SESSION 2022-2023
- All admissions will be strictly followed on the basis of merit.
- For Hons. & General Admission process will start on and from 18.07.2022 in the following manner:
- Application form for Admission must be submitted through the website of our college and no printed forms will be available from anywhere. Whole admission process including fees payments should be done online.
- There will be no Application fee.
- E-Receipt shall be obtained from the computer system after the submission of application fees (keep the e-receipt carefully for future correspondence)
- Application process will be ended on 05.08.2022. The Provisional Merit List for all subjects will be published on the college website on 08.08.2022
- If any applicant’s name is missing from the merit list, the candidate may contact the college authority within 09.08.2022 to 11.08.2022 along with the Application receipt of his/her application through college help line e-mail specifically meant for admission (msccadmission@gmail.com).
- The Final Merit List for all subjects will be published on the college website on 12.08.2022.
- Admission will start from 13.08.2022 and will continue till further notice.
- Only Original Mark sheet of 12 Standard Examination should be uploaded. Downloaded version of Mark sheet will not be considered as original Mark sheet.
- Size of uploaded documents should be 40kb to 50kb for photograph and signature and 130kb to 150kb for all other document.
- Vocational course pass out students can only apply for B.A./B.Com General course.
- When a subject full mark is of 200, applicants should convert their marks to weightage of 100.
- All admission related information will be available on the college website (http://maharajasrischandracollege.in).
- Mobile No is unique and compulsory for an applicant.
- Email Id is unique and compulsory for an applicant.
The students who were admitted in earlier sessions in 1+1+1 system and appeared in B.A./B.Sc./B.Com (Honours /General) Part I Examinations in such system shall continue to be guided by the existing Regulations of Annual System. They are not allowed to be admitted in CBCS system.
- The students shall be admitted as per the above schedule subject to fulfillment of conditions as laid down in the Calcutta University Notification No. CSR/03/18 dated 07.5.2018 for B.A./B.Sc./B.Mus. (Honours/General), CSR/04/2018 dated 07.5.2018 for B.A./ B.Sc./ B.Com.(Major), CSR/26/2017 dated 26.5.2017, CSR/64/2017 dated 14.9.2017 & CSR/10/18 dated 30.5.2018 for B.Com. (Honours/ General) and CSR/07 /18 dated 30.5.2018 for B.B.A. (Honours). https://www.caluniv.ac.in/
- As per Government Order no. No. 507 - Edn(CS)/lOM-95/14 dated 30.06.22, Admission will be cancelled if the documents are found not in conformity with the declaration in the forms submitted on-line. i.e. The admission of a candidate will be cancelled for any false / wrong declaration regarding their marks and other relevant data during filling up the application form.
- Applicants for admission to 1st year classes must have passed H.S or equivalent examination.
- Reservation of Seats: SC-22%, ST-6%, OBC-A-10%, OBC-B-7% & EWS-10% (Category wise No. of seats given below). Physically Handicapped 3% within each category and 18 Seats (4 seats in B.Com Hons, 10 in B.Com General and 4 in B A General) shall be reserved for outstanding Sports Personalities (As per Govt. of West Bengal Rules and Regulations for Sports quota)
- Students applying for admission in B.Com. Honours course must pass with either Accountancy, Business Economics including Business Mathematics, Business Organization, Mathematics, Business Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Business Studies, Office and Secretarial Practice, Financial Accounting, Elements of Cost Accountancy & Auditing, Book Keeping, Commerce, Cost Accountancy & Principle of Management.
- Students applying for admission in B.Com. General course must pass with either Accountancy/ Business Economics including Business Mathematics/ Business Organization/ Mathematics/ Economics/ Statistics/ Commerce/ Accounts/ Business Studies/ Financial Accounting/ Office and Secretarial Practice/ Elements of Cost Accountancy and Auditing/ Book keeping/ Business Mathematics/ Cost Accountancy & Principle of Management.
- The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the aggregate of best 4 subjects (Marks in ENVS as Compulsory subject shall not be taken into account).
