IAF pilot Captain Abhinandan to be part of school curriculum
The wing commander's act of indomitable courage and bravery will guide young impressionable minds towards nation building and instill a sense of patriotism.
Rajasthan education minister demands to include IAF pilot Captain Abhinandan to be part of school curriculum.
IAF pilot Captain Abhinandan recently shot down a Pakistani F-16 warplane before his MiG 21 was knocked down forcing him to bail out in Pakistani territory. He remained in Pakistan custody for nearly 58 - 59 hours and eventually was returned.
Govind Singh Dostara, Rajasthan's education minister, announced on social media about this novel initiative recently. He informed that Abhinandan was educated in Jodhpur and that makes him a perfect example of 'son of soil' achievement.
The tweet written in Hindi says, "To commemorate the bravery of Jodhpur-read Wing Commander, who recently became known for his nerves of steel while in Pakistan, the government has decided to include the tale of pilot's valour in school textbooks in Rajasthan."
The same message was posted on his Facebook public account, showing his enthusiasm for this new inclusion.
Earlier, the Rajasthan government had toyed with the idea of including the tales and stories of CRPF Pulwana martyrs and their supreme sacrifice for national security.
The people of this country and generations to come will forever remain indebted to their sacrifice. The minister's tweet reflected the people's demand for nationality and patriotic sentiment.
