Important Announcement:

  • The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the Class 10th and Class 12th Board Examination 2020 revised dates for remaining papers soon. Earlier this month, Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' said that the exact CBSE board Examination 2020 schedule along with other details will be announced on 14th April 2020 after reviewing the coronavirus situation. The 21-day coronavirus lockdown, which was scheduled to end on 14th April 2020, has now been extended till 3rd May 2020.
  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced that the current lockdown will be extended till 3rd May 2020, saying it is very necessary to contain the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in the country. Therefore, the CBSE Board Examination 2020 for classes 10th and 12th is likely to be held after the lockdown is lifted.
  • As reported by PTI, Modi said India received huge benefits from the 21-day lockdown in checking the pandemic and added that the country has dealt with the situation better with limited resources.

CBSE Board free live fitness classes

  • Further, CBSE and Fit India, the government's flagship fitness movement, will start live fitness sessions for school students from Wednesday to keep them engaged as well as fit in the second phase of the countrywide lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
  • According to the HRD Ministry, from April 15 at 9:30 am, students can access the live sessions on the Facebook and Instagram handles of Fit India Movement and CBSE. All the sessions will also be available on YouTube so that students can access them at their convenience as well.

CBSE Board Exam 2020: Subjects for which examinations will be held for class 10th

  • For class 10th, CBSE will conduct the examinations of only those subjects whose examinations were postponed by the board because of law and order situation in North-East Delhi District.
