It is Mandatory for the candidate to have secured Pass Marks in English at the 10+2 Final Board Exams.

|At least 50 % marks in aggregate in H.S or Equivalent Examination with at least 45 % marks in the subject /related subject(*) opted for Honours Programme.
ORAt least 55 % marks in the subject / related subject (*) opted for the Honours Programme.
OR50% marks in the aggregate when the candidate has not studied the subjects in her previous qualifying examination provided all other clauses are satisfied .

40 % marks in aggregate or 40 % marks in subject or related subject in H.S or Equivalent Examination along with the SC/ ST certificate in the name of the candidate is required

|Economics||Candidates must pass Mathematics at the H.S Examination (10+2) conducted bythe W.B.C.H.S.E.Students who passed Business Economics Including Business Maths in H.S (10+2) level from W.B.C.H.S.E are not eligible to take admission in Economics Honours.
Candidates of Economics Hons. have to take up Mathematics as one of the generic elective subjects.
