Objectives

The Heritage Academy Media Science Department focuses on imparting three basic skills required to become a media person in today’s world, critical thinking skills, knowledge of current events and the ability to communicate through words, images, audio, video and other means. The TIP (Theory Internships and Practicals) program gives an undergraduate student opportunities in making films, advertisements, blogs et al. The focus will be in giving the skill sets that let them enter the media industry or pursue higher studies.

The Bachelor program grooms students for careers in different areas in media. Through mandatory internships and projects the students get an understanding of how the media world works. Keeping these factors in mind the students will work on live projects from first semester and through multiple internships, industry interactions, events and competitions gear towards becoming industry ready professionals.

Multiple internships, live projects, competitions, regular assessments and a 24x7 work atmosphere readies you for placement oppurtunities in more than 30 plus careers in journalism across media, advertising, public relations, corporate communications event management, digital and social media. Placements will take place in final semester.
