Admission procedure to the first semester of the following PG Courses for the session 2022-2023 will start from 1st September 2022, strictly in accordance to the Admission Notification, and admission schedule and the guidelines as per Govt. Notification No. 507-Edn (CS)/l0M- 95/14, dated 30th June, 2022, issued by the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal.

    It is hereby notified for all concerned that the online admission into different Post Graduate courses (M.A. / M.Sc. / M.Com.) for the academic session 2022-23 will be done as per the following schedule:

    + Eligibility Criteria

    • Only the Honours graduates of CBCS & (1+1+1) of 2020, 2021 & 2022 are eligible for admission in the PG courses of their respective subject.

    + Selection Procedure

    • Merit list will be prepared strictly on the basis of marks obtained in the UG Examination. In case of tie in marks obtained in UG Examination, marks obtained in the immediately preceding examinations will be considered for ranking.
    • Mere publication of name in the Merit list does not guarantee the admission.
    Note:
    • Only complete online application will be considered for the preparation of merit list.
    • All notifications and lists will be published in the following University website https://alipurduaruniversity.ac.in.
    • Incomplete applications with incorrect information will be summarily rejected.
    • Reserved category candidates (SC / ST / OBC-A / OBC-B / PWD) must upload their caste certificate issued by the competent authority, on a date prior to the submission of application. Certificate issued on a later date by any authority, will not be accepted at the time of admission.
    • PWD certificates should issued by the following competent authority:
      Officer-in-Charge or Medical Head of Block Health Centers, State General Hospitals, Rural Hospitals, Sub-Divisional Hospitals or the District Hospitals run by the State Government or any hospitals run by a statutory body or authority.
    • The admission of a student will be cancelled, if he/she remains absent in the class for consecutive ten days from the commencement of the semester without any intimation to the university authority. The admission fees paid will not be refunded.
