In continuation of earlier Notification No. Admission/UG/Ag-1(Part-VII)/L-397 dated 24/08/2022 (U.G. Notification No.5/2022-23), it is notified to all concerned that interested and eligible candidates, whose name appear in the provisional merit list for admission to B.Sc.(Hons.)Agriculture/B.Sc.(Hons.) Horticulture Courses in the academic session 2022-23, will be required to attend the offline counselling and admission in person as per the following schedule.

Other information for candidates:
  • Admission will be conducted as per ranking, availability of seats and other terms & conditions as stipulated in the U.G. Notification No.2/2022-23 [Ref. No. Admission/UG/Ag-1(Part-VII)/L-282 dt. 12/7/2022].
  • Candidates failing to attend as per above mentioned schedule, will not be allowed to take admission. The decision of the Admission Committee will be final.
  • *Counselling and admission process will be conducted on 8/9/2022 (1.30 P.M.) only if there exists any vacancy after the counseling on 2/9/2022.
  • Venue: Convocation Hall, Administrative Building, BCKV, Mohanpur, Nadia, West Bengal, India.
  • Train Route Direction:
    Nearest Railway Station: - Kanchrapara (Eastern Railway). From station by bus (Rout No. 22- Kanchrapara to Nagarukhra)/ Auto. Stoppage- Mohanpur, BCKV Main Gate.
    OR
    Bus Route Direction: 34 National Highway (Shiliguri to Kolkata / Kolkata to Shiliguri bus route) by bus, Stoppage - Barajaguli. From Barajaguli by Auto/ Toto/ Van Rickshaw /Bus to Mohanpur, BCKV Main Gate (Approx 5 minutes).

Candidates are hereby directed to produce the following documents in original and photocopies in A-4 size paper (as per uploaded copy) at the time of Counseling /Admission for necessary verification:
  • Printed copy of online Application Form and money receipt.
  • Self attested photocopy of H.S. Mark-sheet (both side) & Age-proof certificate (Birth Certificate/Certificate of Secondary Examination).
  • Self attested photocopy of cast certificate from the competent authority (Category – SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B).
  • Self attested photocopy of the Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority (Chairman, Municipality or Executive Officer of the Municipality or Commissioner/Administrator of Municipal Corporation /Pradhan, Gram Panchayat /B.D.O./ S.D.O.).
  • Self attested photocopy of AADHAAR CARD.
  • Self attested photocopy of valid Medical Certificate from proper authority for physically challenged persons.
  • Self attested copies of Sports proficiency certificates (at least inter district level) from the competent authority (For sports quota candidates only).
  • Admission Fees (Non-refundable except ICAR candidates):
    • Hosteller: Admission Fee Rs. 22,000/-
      [Admission fees Rs. 19,000.00 (including 1st semester fee) + Hostel Security Deposit Rs. 3,000.00 (refundable after completion of the course)].
    • Day-Scholar: Admission Fee Rs. 17,200.00 including 1st semester fee.
    N.B.: Admission fees will be collected in cash only.

  • SUBMISSION OF BLOOD ELECTROPHORESIS (THALASSAEMIA) TEST REPORT:
    The candidates who will be admitted after counselling are required to submit self attested copy of Blood Electrophoresis (Thalassaemia) test report to the concerned Medical Officer, BCKV Health Centre within one month from the date of starting of class.
  • Reservation of seats will be followed as per the rule of Govt. of West Bengal. Admission would be made as per option exercised by the candidates. The option once exercised shall be treated as final.
