Applications are invited from a female candidate from a recognized Board/Council qualifying H.S. or (10+2) level examination not earlier than 2014 for admission to the following Under Graduate Courses. Candidates have to pass English as a subject with full marks of 100.

3-Years B.Sc. Core Corse (CC)- Food & Nutrition) (Hons) in Food & Nutrition)
Eligiblity:
i) At least 50% marks in aggregate at (10+2) level and
ii) At least Pass in Chemistry with 45% marks

3-Years B.Sc. Core Corse (CC)- Human Development (Hons in Human Development) :
Eligiblity:
i) At least 50% marks in aggregate at (10+2) level and
ii) Related subject combination at HS level should be Sociology / Psychology / Education / Home Management / Chemistry / Biology
Eligibility to apply for SC/ST/PC Candidates in both Hons. Courses be 40% marks in aggregate in (10+2) system.
No candidate from West Bengal State Council of Vocational Education and Training are eligible to apply to the aforesaid courses. The students who were admitted in earlier sessions and appeared in B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Mus. (Honours/General) Part I Examination in 2018 or earlier shall not eligible to this CBCS course.

N.B. : Candidates passing out in Previous Year/Back year may produce No Objection Certificate from Under Graduate Council of the University before admission to any courses otherwise her application is treated as cancelled.
Admission will be cancelled if documents are found not in conformity with the declaration in the form submitted on-line.

SEMESTER WORKLOAD
Each Semester : 15-18 Weeks of academic work
Theory/Tutorial : 1 Credit = 1 hr./week

As per Government rule Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates in her domicile state are entitled to get the reservation facility. SC/ST certificate issued by the competent authority of Government of West Bengal are only accepted. For Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates 22% and 6% of total number of seats respectively are reserved for all courses. A Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe student getting admission should obtain marks in the previous qualifying examination in the relevant subject not lower than 25% than that of obtained by the last candidate admitted from the general category. SC/ST candidate securing equal or higher marks than the last candidate admitted from the general category to be treated as General Category if she wishes.

FOR OBC
As per Government rule OBC-A and OBC-B candidates in her domicile state are entitled to get the reservation facility. OBC-A and OBC-B certificate issued by the competent authority of Government of West Bengal are only accepted. For OBC-A and OBC-B candidates for this year 2018-19, 4 Nos. of seats are reserved for each Hons. course and 7 Nos. of seats are reserved for General course. OBC-A and OBC-B student getting admission should obtain marks in the previous qualifying examination in the relevant subject not lower than 10% than that of obtained by the last candidate admitted from the general category. OBC-A and OBC-B candidate securing equal or higher marks than the last candidate admitted from the general category to be treated as General Category if she wishes.

FOR PWD
Person with Disabilities (PWD) Candidate having degree of disability 40% and above is entitled to get reservation facility. Physically Challenged (PWD) candidate must attach a certificate from the competent authority. 5% of the total number of seats is reserved for (Physically Challenged candidates) in each category horizontally (There is no vertical reservation in P.C. category).
