Decentralised Counselling for Admission in UG Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy Courses
Academic Session: 2023-24

    + Eligibility

    • General: Candidates with a valid General Merit Rank (GMR) of WBJEE 2023and have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination in science stream in regular class mode of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from a recognized Council/Board may apply subject to fulfilling all the eligibility criteria as laid down in this Admission Information Brochure.
      The students already admitted to UG Degree Programme under FET, JU and either continuing or have withdrawn from the same may also apply.
    • For Engineering/Technology and Pharmacy courses:
      • Candidates must have a valid WBJEE-2023 GMR within 10,000 for general category and any valid WBJEE-2023 GMR for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PWD candidates.
      • Candidates must have obtained individual pass mark (both in theory & practical wherever applicable) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects at Higher Secondary or Equivalent examination with Minimum of 60% marks in above subjects taken together (45% for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PWD candidates) and having 60% marks in Mathematics (45% for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PWD candidates) as well as pass marks in English with a minimum mark 30% (for all category of candidates) in the said qualifying examination.
    • For Architecture courses:
      • Candidates must have a valid WBJEE-2023 GMR (for all category)
      • Candidates must have a valid qualified result of NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) conducted by the Council of Architecture, New Delhi OR JEE-Mains paper-2 conducted by National Testing Agency
      • Candidates must have obtained Minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together and 50% marks in aggregate of the (10+2) Examination (37% for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PWD candidates)

    + Application

    • The eligible candidates are to fill up the online application form to exercise their willingness for participation in the decentralised counselling. The application form link along with the time schedule of application will be published in due time on the FET, JU admission website https://admissionju.jadavpuruniversity.in/fengadmission .
    • All willing candidates MUST also deposit a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500/- through SBI-Collect online payment systemwithin the last date. The Payment Head and the Last Date will be notified separately in the admission website. Non-payment of application fee within due time will automatically cancel the application without further communication.
    • The general category candidates with GMR more than 10000 and willing to apply for the Architecture course will not be able to use the online application system. They must write an email to the admission helpdesk with scanned copies of all supporting documents as proof of their eligibility for the B.Arch. programme.
    • Applicants need not have to mention their preferred choice of courses during online application. They have to exercise the choice during their respective counselling based on the availability at that instant.
