For Physics(Day), Physics (Evening), Chemistry (Day), Chemistry (Evening), Mathematics (Day), Mathematics (Evening), Applied Geology, Geography and Electronics Science | Candidates will be selected strictly on the basis of result of a written admission test. |
For Instrumentation, Biotechnology | Candidates will be selected strictly on the basis of result of a written admission test. |

For Secondary or equivalent | Percentage of marks obtained in all subjects |
For Higher Secondary or equivalent | On the basis of: 1. W.B.C.H.S.E.: Percentage of marks obtained in best of 4 subjects excluding marks of Environmental Studies/Environmental Education/Environmental Science (out of 400 marks) 2. All Other Boards: Percentage of marks obtained in best of 4 subjects (out of 400 marks) |
