Admission will be open for UGC approved Three Year Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) in Journalism & Mass Communication (JMC) under the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF). Higher Secondary (10+2) passed candidates from any recognized educational boards in any disciplines may apply for the course. With an emphases to focus more on practical training, the UGC has introduced this vocational and skill development degree program called Bachelor of Vocation. The main motto of the course is to prepare the students for the different types of employments related to these fields. Thus the entire course curriculum is designed in such a fashion that practical component is equally important to that of theory portion. Regular class is mandatory for the future of the students. Students can exit or take entrance at different levels. After Semester 1, they can exit with Certificate Level course in JMC. Similarly, at the end of semester 2, 4, and 6 they can exit with Diploma, Advance Diploma and B.Voc. Degree in JMC respectively. The Admission and Course fees are quite low in compare to others so that candidates even from underprivileged section may avail the scope.
