Online applications are invited for admission to the M.P.Ed. (2 years full time) Programme approved by N.C.T.E. of the University of Kalyani, West Bengal, for the session 2022-2023.

Eligibility:
Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or equivalent with at least 50 % marks.
OR
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Health and Physical Education with at least 50 % marks.

Intake: 40 (Reservation of seats as per Govt. rules.)
Distribution and Reservation of Seats:

• SC / ST quota as per state Govt. rules.
• 95 % of seat intake will be reserved for Fresh Candidates and 05 % for untrained inservice deputed teachers.
• Selected candidates shall have to reside within a reasonable proximity of the Institution.
• The intake ratio for home University and other Universities shall be 80:20.
• Sports Quota (for applicants from Home University): 01
• At least 5 (five) seats for women candidates.

For Deputed teacher = 2 [UR-02]
For fresh candidates = 38 [K.U. - 30 (UR-21, SC-07, ST-02) Other than K.U. - 08 (UR-06, SC-02)]

Admission Procedure:
Merit list will be prepared on the basis of Academic Qualifications, Sports achievement and NCC certificate. Total 50 marks.

• Academic Achievement (40) (*Level 1-(S.E.) - % X 0.10; Level 2- (HSE) - % X 0.10; * Level 3- Degree Course (UG) - % X 0.10; *B.P.Ed- % X 0.10)
• Sports Achievement Maximum- 5 (District-2, Inter District-3, Inter University-4, All India level of participation National-5. Only achievements of last 3 years and sports recognized by AIU will be considered.
• Achievement in Co-curricular field Maximum (5): NCC-C (2); NCC-B (1), N.I.S. (Full Course) – 5, N.I.S. (Cert. Course) – 2

Note: B.P.Ed. students of 2020-22 session may apply, but they have to secure qualifying marks in B.P.Ed. Examination as per NCTE regulation, 2016.
