Applications are invited in prescribed format from the candidates for admission to B. Tech. in Agricultural Engineering course against the vacant seats as listed below for the academic session 2023-2024. Candidates fulfilling the following eligibility criteria should apply online in the prescribed format (Google form) within 3rd October 2023.

Application form has to be submitted online only through University website https://admissionubkv.in. The detailed information and admission related notifications are available in the website

    + ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

    • The eligibility of the candidates according to the order of preference (Vide G.O. No. No: 425- Edn(T)/10M-86/15 Dated 19.09.2023) of Department of Higher Education, (Govt. of WB) with the eligibility marks of H.S. Examination (10+2) and candidates must have WBJEE-2023 rank (General Merit Rank in Engineering).
    • Condition of eligibility regarding H.S. Examination(10+2) marks as per WBJEEB guidelines :
      • Candidate must have passed the Qualifying Examination i.e. the '10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry / Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science / Computer Application/Technical Vocational Subject as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all the three subjects as stated above in regular class mode
      • Must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category i.e. SC. ST, OBC-A OBC-B, PWD) in the above three subjects taken together.
      • Must have passed English in the Higher Secondary (10+2) examination with at least 30% marks.
      • The Board of the said Qualifying Examination must be recognized by the Central Government or State Government concerned.
      • Recommended format of certificate to be produced by Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) OBC-A&B classes candidates.
      • The SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PWD [PWD certificates are to be issued by any of the authorities as given in the order No. 289-HF/O/PHP/IR-05/2017 dated 29.08.2018 by the Government of West Bengal, Health & Family Welfare Department (PHP Branch)] applicants, domiciled of West Bengal, will only be considered under reserved category on submission of the domicile certificate in prescribed format (Format is available in the website www.ubkv.ac.in).

    1. Date of Notification of Decentralized Counseling 22.09.2023
    2. Online submission of application form will be started from 22.09.2023
    3. Last date of online submission of application form 03.10.2023
    4. Publication of merit list in the University website and Notice Board 04.10.2023
    5. Date of decentralized counseling and admission 09.10.2023
    6. Commencement of class 10.10.2023

    # Actual vacancy might increase or decrease at the time of counseling & admission.

    # After commencement of classes of 1st Semester within two months if any vacancy arises due to discontinuation of any student, the University can fill up that seat from the existing merit panel of Decentralized Counseling 2023 through spot admission.

    + AGE

    • The lower age limit is 17 (Seventeen) years as on 31.12.2023. A candidate should have been born on or before 31.12.2006. There is no upper age limit.

    + ADMISSION & OTHER FEES

    • Net amount payable by the students during admission Rs. 18100/- (Without Hostel) and Rs. 22000/- (With Hostel).
    • Note: Incomplete/mistaken application forms will be rejected. The University reserves the right to change/cancel the admission process due to unforeseen circumstances. The admission will be refused if original certificates/documents and corresponding attested photocopies of certificates/documents are not presented or submitted at the time of admission. Submission of any wrong information given by the applicant in the online application form (Google form) may lead to cancellation of candidature of the applicant at any stage of his/her studies.

    + HOSTEL FACILITIES

    • Hostel accommodation might not be available for all admitted candidates. It depends on the availability of seats in hostel.

    • Keep handy the scanned copy of the following documents which have to be uploaded during final submission of application form:–
      • Passport size color photograph of the applicant in .jpg format.
      • Signature of the applicant in .jpg format.
      • Rank Card of WBJEE 2023 (Only in pdf format)
      • Caste Certificate (if applicable) only in pdf format.
      • Domicile certificate in prescribed proorma for reserved category applicants
      • Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate in prescribed proorma for OBC-A&B classes candidates
        # No document has to be sent to the University after submission of online application form.
        # Above documents in original will be required at the time of admission.
    • Start applying.

    • Check finally.
    • Submit your application finally.
