The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched the post-result review process for Class 12 students following the 2026 board examination results. Students who wish to review their marks can now apply online for scanned answer sheets, marks verification, and re-evaluation services.
The initiative is designed to ensure transparency and allow students to address possible errors in evaluation or calculation that may impact their final scores.
| Service | Dates |
|---|---|
| Application for scanned answer sheets | May 19 – May 22, 2026 |
| Last date for submission | May 22, 2026 (11:59 PM) |
| Marks verification window | May 26 – May 29, 2026 |
| Re-evaluation application period | May 26 – May 29, 2026 |
Re-evaluation requests will only apply to the specific questions selected by the student and not the complete answer sheet.
Students are advised to check their evaluated answer sheets thoroughly before applying for re-evaluation. Only valid discrepancies identified during expert review will be considered by the board.
CBSE has also clarified that the outcome declared after the re-evaluation process will be treated as final.
The re-evaluation system offers students an opportunity to identify possible totaling mistakes, unchecked responses, or marking-related issues that may influence their overall results.
Since Class 12 scores are important for college admissions and future academic opportunities, students are encouraged to complete applications early and avoid last-minute delays on the portal.
