Students waiting for the ICSE and ISC 2026 results will have to wait a bit longer. The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has clarified that the results will not be announced today, dismissing ongoing speculation.

Officials have stated that the board has not yet finalized a release date. Students are advised to depend only on official updates rather than unverified information circulating online. The evaluation process is nearly complete, but the exact announcement schedule is still pending.

Result Date Status

There is currently no confirmed date for the declaration of ICSE and ISC 2026 results. However, based on previous timelines, the results are expected soon, possibly around late April or early May. Students should regularly check the official CISCE website for accurate updates.

Exam Schedule and Participation

The ICSE Class 10 examinations were conducted from February 17 to March 30, 2026. Meanwhile, the ISC Class 12 exams took place between February 12 and April 6, 2026.

Approximately 2.6 lakh students appeared for the ICSE exams, while around 1.5 lakh candidates took the ISC exams this year.

Previous Year Trends

In recent years, CISCE has typically announced results between late April and mid-May. For example, the 2025 results were declared on April 30, with pass rates exceeding 99% for both ICSE and ISC. In 2024, results were released on May 6, and in 2023 on May 15.

During the pandemic period, result announcements were delayed significantly, extending to July and even September in 2022.

Changes in Evaluation System

CISCE has introduced changes to its evaluation policy in recent years. The board has removed the compartment exam system and now allows students to apply for re-evaluation or appear for improvement exams in up to two subjects within the same academic year.
