Jadavpur University (JU) has initiated a decentralised counselling and spot admission process to fill vacant undergraduate engineering seats. The process, which began on October 15, will follow general merit rankings. Out of 1,190 engineering seats, 148 are currently vacant.

Important Dates and Admission Schedule

• October 15-23: Online application submission and payment of the application fee.
• October 24: Publication of the provisional eligible applicant list and discrepancy list.
• October 25, by 6 pm: Deadline for submitting grievances regarding discrepancies.
• October 26: Publication of the final applicant list.
• October 28-31: Document verification and spot admission at the TEQIP Building.

Interested candidates should submit their applications within the specified deadline and follow the university's admission schedule for the remaining formalities.
