The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has postponed the Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Main (Written) Competitive Examination 2025. The commission stated that the examination will be conducted on revised dates, which will be announced through a future notification.
The postponement was announced through an official notification issued on July 22, just a few days before the examination was scheduled to begin. The recruitment examination, conducted under Advertisement No. 01/2026, was originally planned for July 25, 26, and 27 in two shifts at multiple examination centres across Ranchi district.
According to the commission, the decision was taken after receiving directions from the state government and following issues related to the conduct of the examination. While these factors prompted the postponement, JPSC has not disclosed the exact nature of the reported irregularities.
The commission has not yet released a revised examination schedule. Candidates who were preparing to appear for the mains examination will have to wait until JPSC issues a fresh notification confirming the new dates.
Aspirants are advised to visit the official JPSC website regularly for updates on the revised examination schedule and any additional instructions. The postponement notice has also been made available on the commission's official portal for reference.
Until an updated timetable is announced, candidates should rely only on official notifications and avoid unverified information circulating on social media or other unofficial platforms.
