NEET PG 2026 Examination: Key Details

The NEET PG 2026 examination was conducted across India on August 30. NBEMS reported that 2,63,544 candidates appeared for the examination.

An examination-related disruption affected two test centres in Jaipur due to an internal power issue at the iON Digital Zone IDZ Sitapura centre. A re-examination was later conducted in Jaipur on September 5 for the affected candidates, with 2,416 candidates appearing.

NEET PG 2026 Qualifying Cut-Off

NBEMS has released the qualifying percentile and corresponding marks for the different candidate categories.

NEET PG 2026 Scorecard and Answer Key

Individual NEET PG 2026 scorecards will be available for download from October 1 through the NBEMS website.

The scorecards are expected to remain available online for six months from their date of issue. Candidates should retain a copy of their scorecard for future admission and counselling requirements.

The NEET PG 2026 answer key is also scheduled to be made available on or after October 1. Candidates will be able to access examination-related response information through their individual applicant login.

This information is expected to include:

• Question identification numbers
• Correct answer identification numbers
• Responses marked during the examination
• Marks awarded for individual questions

How to Check NEET PG 2026 Result

Candidates can follow these steps to access their NEET PG 2026 result:

1. Visit the official NBEMS website.
2. Open the section related to NEET PG 2026.
3. Select the result link.
4. Enter the required login information, if requested.
5. View the raw marks and NEET PG rank displayed on the result.
6. Download or save the result for future reference.

State Quota Merit Lists

The NEET PG result should not be considered the final state-level admission merit list. For State Quota seats, the relevant State or Union Territory authorities will prepare merit lists according to their applicable eligibility requirements, regulations and reservation rules.

State counselling authorities may also release separate category-wise merit lists as part of the admission process.

Candidate Eligibility and Document Verification

Candidates remain provisionally eligible until they satisfy all applicable admission and examination requirements.

During the admission process, candidates may be asked to produce original documents for verification. This may include verification of MBBS or FMGE aggregate marks, particularly when those marks are relevant for resolving a tie between candidates.
