The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is set to publish the final seat allocation for Round 1 of NEET PG Counselling 2026 on October 24, after examining candidate complaints regarding the provisional list released a day earlier. Applicants are advised to wait for the confirmed allotment before visiting their assigned colleges.

Provisional Allotment Published on October 23

MCC released the preliminary Round 1 seat allocation list on October 23, 2026. Candidates who took part in the counselling process can access the document through the committee's official website, mcc.nic.in.

Following the release, the counselling authority provided candidates with an opportunity to report errors or concerns through the grievance and query resolution facility available in their candidate login accounts. The deadline for submitting complaints was set for 11:30 AM on October 24.

The committee has emphasised that the provisional list does not constitute a confirmed seat offer. Allocations may be revised after the review process, and candidates cannot treat a preliminary allotment as a guaranteed admission. They should refrain from contacting or reporting to their allotted institutions until MCC publishes the final outcome.

The Round 1 counselling process for All India Quota (AIQ), deemed universities and central universities commenced on October 12, according to the schedule issued by MCC. The first-round process is scheduled to conclude on October 24.

What Should Candidates Do After the Final Result?

Applicants must report to their assigned institutions during the designated period and complete the required admission formalities, including document verification. Missing the reporting deadline or failing to meet the prescribed requirements may affect the admission process.

Until the final list is officially published, candidates should rely on updates available through the MCC website rather than treating the provisional allocation as confirmation of admission.
