NEET UG 2026 Fee Refund Deadline Extended: NTA Gives Students More Time to Submit Bank Details | News

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the deadline for submitting bank account details related to the NEET UG 2026 fee refund process. Candidates can now complete the submission process until June 22, 2026, 11:50 PM through the official portal.

The extension was provided after several applicants were unable to finish the process during the earlier submission period, which was scheduled from May 22 to May 27.

Around 13 lakh candidates have already updated their banking information on the NEET UG registration portal, according to the latest notice issued by NTA.

How Candidates Can Submit Details

Eligible students need to log in to the NEET UG 2026 portal using their application credentials. After accessing the dashboard, they should open the refund section and enter their preferred bank account details.

Applicants may also upload a cancelled cheque for verification purposes, although this step is optional.

Important Instructions

  • Bank details must be entered carefully.
  • Information submitted will be treated as final.
  • No corrections or modifications will be allowed afterward.
  • Candidates should verify account number, IFSC code, and account holder name before submission.

Reason Behind the Extension

The revised deadline is expected to help students who faced technical issues or delays in arranging the required banking information.

Since the refund process affects a large number of NEET aspirants across the country, the additional time will help ensure smoother completion of the formalities.

Students are advised to regularly check the official NEET UG portal for future updates regarding refunds, counselling, and admission procedures.
