The National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme is a Central Sector scholarship programme intended to provide financial support to meritorious students from economically weaker families.
The scheme aims to encourage students to continue their education after Class 8. Financial assistance is available from Class 9 through Class 12, subject to the applicable conditions.
