Candidates who cleared the UGC NET June 2026 examination can now access their e-certificates online. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has made the certificates available through the official UGC-NET portal.

The certificates have been issued according to the qualification category obtained by candidates, covering Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor eligibility and PhD admission.

Which Candidates Can Access the Certificate?

The June 2026 UGC NET e-certificate is available for candidates who qualified under the following categories:

• Candidates awarded Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).
• Candidates awarded JRF along with eligibility for Assistant Professor.
• Candidates eligible for Assistant Professor and admission to a PhD programme.
• Candidates qualifying specifically for admission to a PhD programme.

The UGC NET examination is conducted by the NTA to determine eligibility for JRF, Assistant Professor positions and PhD admissions at eligible higher education institutions in India.

UGC NET June 2026 Examination Details

The June 2026 examination was conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode on June 22, 23, 24, 25, 29 and 30. An additional examination session was conducted on July 5.

The English, Commerce and Sociology examinations were subsequently conducted again in September. The re-examination followed the identification of issues in the original question papers, including factual, typographical, translation and language-related concerns, along with instances of repeated questions.

Result Declaration and Re-Examination

The NTA declared results for 84 subjects on August 28, 2026. The results for English, Commerce and Sociology were announced on September 17 following their re-examination.

The September re-examination took place at 454 centres across 272 cities. A total of 1,20,355 candidates appeared for the examination out of 1,96,491 registered candidates.

5. Submit the details to access the certificate.
