The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the final results of the UPPCS 2024 examination, ending months of anticipation among candidates. The declaration marks the conclusion of a long and highly competitive selection process.

One of the key highlights of this year’s result is the impressive performance of women candidates. Six women secured positions within the top ten, reflecting their growing success in the state civil services examination.
Although the Commission has not disclosed the hometowns of the toppers, the announcement has sparked enthusiasm among aspirants, especially in regions like Prayagraj and Purvanchal.
The merit list this year demonstrates a strong presence of female candidates, with women occupying a majority of the top ten positions. This trend highlights their consistent rise in one of the toughest competitive exams in the state.

The recruitment process began with around 5.76 lakh candidates appearing for the preliminary examination. Out of these, 15,066 candidates qualified for the mains stage, and 13,776 appeared for the written exam conducted between June 29 and July 2, 2025.
A total of 2,719 candidates were shortlisted for interviews, with 2,698 candidates appearing before the panel.
During the selection process, aspirants staged protests in Prayagraj in November 2024 over proposed changes to the examination pattern. Following these demonstrations, the Commission decided to retain the existing format.
Some posts, such as Management Officer and Administrator roles, could not be filled due to a lack of suitable candidates. Despite this, the final selection of 932 candidates marks the successful completion of a rigorous examination cycle.
