The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has released important updates regarding the Madhyamik (Secondary) Examination 2026 results. The results are set to be published on May 8, 2026.
The announcement will be made at 9:30 AM through an official press briefing conducted by the board’s ad-hoc committee head. Students can access their results online starting from 10:15 AM via the official websites.
Physical copies of marksheets and certificates will be distributed to schools from 10:30 AM onwards on the same day through designated camp offices. School heads or their authorised representatives must collect these documents by submitting the required EMU/C/1G form.
Registration certificates for Class IX (2025), including those processed during the extended registration period between late February and early March 2026, will also be distributed on May 8. Schools need to carry the printed registration report along with proof of payment, such as a bank challan or online receipt.
Special instructions have been issued for certain regions like Howrah Sadar, Kakdwip, Basirhat, Barasat, Raghunathpur, and Chanchal. Schools in these areas must collect documents from alternative centres as specified by the board.
The Madhyamik Examination 2026 took place from February 2 to February 12 across West Bengal, with approximately 9.71 lakh students appearing at more than 2,600 centres.
The board has advised school authorities to ensure timely collection and smooth distribution of marksheets and certificates to students.
