West Bengal Centralized Admission Portal (WBCAP) 2026 Application Process to Begin from May 19

The online application process for the West Bengal Centralized Admission Portal (WBCAP) 2026, which was initially scheduled to begin on 18th May 2026, has now been postponed by one day due to certain technical and administrative issues.

As per the latest update, the centralized admission application process will officially commence from 19th May 2026.

However, before the application process begins, the portal has already unlocked its search facility for students. Applicants can now browse and explore participating colleges, universities, courses, eligibility criteria, and minor subject combinations through the portal.

“You can now search your desired Higher Education Institutions and Courses through the Portal as per your eligibility. You are advised to take your time to search the Portal thoroughly.”

This early access to the search feature is expected to help students make informed decisions regarding their preferred institutions and academic courses ahead of the admission process.

Students are advised to carefully review institution-wise eligibility requirements, available programs, and subject combinations before submitting their applications through the centralized portal.

The WBCAP 2026 initiative aims to streamline undergraduate admissions across participating colleges and universities throughout West Bengal for the upcoming academic session.
