The outcome of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2025 is anticipated to be released on Thursday, August 7. This follows the entrance exam that took place on April 27, 2025.
Students who took part in the exam will be able to download their rank cards from the official website at wbjeeb.nic.in once the results are published.
In addition to individual results, the authorities are likely to release the merit list and cutoff marks for WBJEE 2025. The entrance exam was conducted in two sessions: from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
The release of results was held up due to a legal matter. In May, the Calcutta High Court issued a temporary stay on a 2010 state order that granted OBC status for higher education admissions in West Bengal. This case later reached the Supreme Court, which recently permitted state agencies to resume admission-related processes pending a final judgment.
Based on legal consultation, the higher education department advised the WBJEE board to move ahead with declaring the results.
Previously, candidates were given the opportunity to raise objections against the provisional answer key by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs. 500 per question until May 11.
