40% MARKS IN (H) AND OR MAJOR in the following subjects:
- MICROBIOLOGY
- BIOTECHNOLOGY
- BIOCHEMISTRY
- MEDICAL MICROBIOLOGY
- MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY WITH MICROBIOLOGY/BIOCHEMISTRY/PATHOLOGY
- ZOOLOGY WITH MICROBIOLOGY AND OR CHEMISTRY AS MINOR PAPER.
- BOTANY WITH MICROBIOLOGY AND OR CHEMISTRY AS MINOR PAPER.

Note:
- The Eligibility for Application: For CBCS candidates, all the 6 semesters should be cleared.
- The Eligibility for Application: For NEP candidates, all the 5 semesters should be cleared without any backlog.
- The Provisional Merit List of eligible candidates will be prepared only in order of total marks obtained in the Honours and or Major subjects for 80 % seat category reserved for WBSU students.
- Similarly, Provisional Merit List of eligible candidates will be prepared only in order of total marks obtained in the Honours and or subjects for 20% seat category reserved for other university students (this rule is applicable only for academic session 2023-24 due to COVID-19 pandemic situation).
- If required, to break tie, the PG Admission Committee will consider the Marks of GE/Minor Paper(s).
