A. General Eligibility Criteria:

• The qualifying Bachelor’s degree must be obtained from a recognized university.
• Honours / Major in the Relevant Discipline:
  Candidates who have obtained their undergraduate degree with Honours or Major in the subject corresponding to the postgraduate programme are eligible to apply.
• Relevant Discipline as a Minor:
  Candidates who have not pursued the relevant subject as an Honours/Major but have studied it as a Minor at the undergraduate level are also eligible to apply, provided they have successfully completed all Minor courses/papers in that discipline and have been awarded their bachelor’s degree.
• Students who are currently appearing for, or awaiting the results of their final semester examination may apply for admission on a provisional basis, subject to their successfully passing the qualifying examination with the prescribed minimum marks. All such candidates must submit their final consolidated marksheet on or before 31 October 2026, failing which, or in case they do not meet the required eligibility criteria, their provisional admission will be automatically cancelled. In such circumstances, the candidate will be required to withdraw from the programme, and no refund of fees will be permitted under any circumstances.
• The qualifying degree should have been completed within the last five years. The year of admission will not be taken into account while calculating five years from the year of passing the previous qualifying examination.
• Admission will be based on performance in the PG admission test conducted by the College.
• Noncompliance with the eligibility criteria will lead to rejection of the application.

B. Marks requirement:

• 55% for General and 45% for reserved category.
• Candidates whose undergraduate marksheets reflect SGPA/CGPA in lieu of marks are required to convert the same into percentage in accordance with the conversion rules/guidelines prescribed by their respective universities. Where applicable, candidates shall also submit an official grade-to-mark conversion formula or certificate issued by the concerned university at the time of admission.
