9. For admission to the 4Yr Honours Programme at the undergraduate level in the first semester, the best four subjects with the highest marks in the Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognized board/council/university (each subject having full marks 100) will be considered for preparing the merit index score (i.e., aggregate marks in best 4 subjects) and drawing the merit lists of all subjects (except the subject Physical Education & Sports).In case of Physical Education & Sports, the merit index score will be prepared in the following manner and merit list will be drawn accordingly:
| Physical Education & Sports | Merit Index Score = aggregate marks in best 4 subjects in Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognized board / council / university (each subject having full marks 100) + Participation in INTERNATIONAL level in any games and sports-15 marks + Participation in NATIONAL level in any games and sports-12 marks + Participation in STATE level in any games and sports-10 marks, which is/are applicable. |
