Notice for the result of Final Combined Competitive Examination and schedule of Personality Test
The result of Final Combined Competitive Examination for recruitment to the post of SubInspector/Sub-Inspectress (Unarmed Branch), Sub-Inspector (Armed Branch) and Sergeant in Kolkata Police – 2023 has been announced and uploaded on the websites of West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (https://prb.wb.gov.in), West Bengal Police (www.wbpolice.gov.in) & Kolkata Police (www.kolkatapolice.gov.in). List of Shortlisted candidates for Personality Test to the post of Sub-Inspector (Unarmed Branch), Sub-Inspector (Armed Branch) and Sergeant in Kolkata Police – 2023 and the list of shortlisted candidates for Personality Test to the post of Sub-Inspectress (Unarmed Branch) in Kolkata Police – 2023 have been uploaded separately. To find the result in the websites, the Not Shortlisted candidates are advised to search by keying-in (or inputting) of their Application Sl. No. and Date of Birth. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for Personality Test which is scheduled to commence on and from 28.09.2026 under 03 (three) Range Recruitment Boards to be setup in Kolkata and surrounding. The e-Call Letters for the same will be available on the abovementioned websites on and from 21.09.2026. Candidates are requested to download their e-Call letter on keying of Application Sl. No. and Date of Birth. The candidate shall have to produce the printout of their e-Call Letter at the allotted venue before the Supporting Staff of the concerned Range Recruitment Board deployed for checking of testimonials on the date of Personality Test. The candidates are also advised to follow the instructions given in the e-Call Letter and to visit the above-mentioned websites on a regular basis.

The selection process by the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board is transparent and purely merit based.
