We welcome all the successful students to register on DOST (Degree Online Services, Telangana), our online platform. DOST helps students to enroll in undergraduate courses such as B.A., B.Com, B.Sc., BBA, BCA, BBM, BSW, and D-Pharmacy,etc., for the Academic Year 2026-27.
DOST provides a single online window (DOST website https://dost.cgg.gov.in) for admissions to any Undergraduate Programme in any of the State Universities (Osmania, Kakatiya, Telangana, Palamuru, Mahatma Gandhi, Sathavahana, and Veeranari Chakali Ilamma Women’s University, Dr. Manmohan Singh Earth Sciences University, JNTU, and TS-SBTET). The admission process is simple, student-friendly and allows the students to complete on their own.
To begin, the students have to visit DOST website

Access the official DOST (Degree Online Services, Telangana) website at https://dost.cgg.gov.in.

Read the information available on the website regarding the undergraduate admission process for the Academic Year 2026-27.

Identify the list of undergraduate courses offered through DOST platform, such as B.A., B.Com, B.Sc., BBA, BCA, BBM, BSW, and D-Pharmacy.

Note the names of the participating State Universities in Telangana, including Osmania, Kakatiya, Telangana, Palamuru, Mahatma Gandhi, Sathavahana, Veeranari Chakali Ilamma Women’s University, Dr. Manmohan Singh Earth Sciences University, JNTU, and TS-SBTET.

Understand the initial step for students to begin the admission process, which involves generating a DOST ID through Candidate Pre-Registration.

Next, with the generated DOST ID, students have to pay the Registration Fee of Rs. 200/- to generate a ‘pin’. This ‘pin’ has to be preserved until the end of the admission process.

Using the DOST ID and pin, students need to log in for further procedures.

DOST-2026 Admission Process for the students

Step-I Registration/DOST ID Generation
-
Method-I: If a student has already linked their Aadhaar number with their mobile number, they can directly register on the DOST Website using mobile OTP authentication. In case their Aadhaar number is not linked with a mobile number, the student should link their own or their parent’s mobile number with their Aadhaar at Aadhaar Update Centres.

Method-II: The students of Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) can register through DOST Mobile App, a student-friendly feature on DOST Website. This method uses photo recognition. Once the student's photo is scanned and accepted, a DOST ID will be generated. Students can then proceed to the next step in the admissions process. The below mentioned steps are to be followed

The student has to download the DOST Mobile App from the DOST Website onto their smartphone.

Then, he has to register his mobile number.

He receives an OTP (One-Time Password).
-
He has to enter the OTP and submit it.
-
After submission, DOST authentication services will be enabled on the dashboard.

The student now has to enter his personal details such as name, date of birth, mobile number, Aadhaar number, etc.
-
As he proceeds, the face recognition service will be activated.
-
When his live photo matches the system's record, a DOST ID will be generated.
-
The student can then proceed with the payment of the registration fee Rs. 200/- and filling in the application.

Method-III: Students may visit a MeeSeva Centre for Biometric Authentication (Fingerprint / Iris / Face Authentication) and registration on DOST.

DOST Registration Process and Seat Allotment Guidelines
Registration on DOST requires a fee of Rs. 200/-
After completing the registration, students will receive their DOST ID and PIN. It is advisable to keep these credentials safe and confidential until the admission process concludes.

Students must log-in using their DOST ID and PIN/password to access the
Application Form.
-
They should fill out the Application Form accurately with all the required details.
Please note that once the data is submitted, it cannot be edited.

After submitting the application, students must exercise web options by selecting their
preferred courses and colleges, assigning priority numbers to each choice. It is
important to carefully assign priorities, as seat allotments will be made based on
these preferences.

Students should not share their DOST ID, PIN, or Password with anyone to maintain
the confidentiality of their options.

Seat allotments will be made to students who have exercised their web options.
-
Seat allocation will be based on merit and the reservation policies in in vouge as per
the Government rules.
-
If a student is satisfied with the allotted seat, they must confirm their seat through
online self-reporting and pay the confirmation fee online, as specified in the following
section.

If a student is not satisfied with the allotted seat, they can pay the reservation fee
online and participate in subsequent web options during the second and third phases
to try for a better seat.

Students who confirm their seat (in any phase) must visit the allotted college in
person between 20.06.2026 and 27.06.2026 to submit the necessary certificates
and pay the required course fee. Only after completing these steps will their seat
be officially confirmed. If the student fails to complete this process his seat will
be cancelled.

Seat Reservation Process and Fee Reimbursement

The student has to submit the following additional documents required for Seat Allotment under Reservation:

MeeSeva Caste/EWS Certificate Number (including the CND number and
sub-caste), issued by the Government of Telangana, is mandatory for seat
allotment under reservation quota.

An Income Certificate issued on or after 01.04.2025 is required (valid
only for DOST Admissions 2026-27).

Payment Process

Students must pay DOST registration fee and seat reservation fee through online
payment gateways.

Students allotted to Government or University colleges who are eligible for ePass fee
reimbursement are exempted from paying the online self-reporting fee.

Students allotted to Private colleges and who are eligible for ePass fee
reimbursement must pay Rs. 500/- for online self-reporting

Students allotted to Government, University, or Private Colleges who are not eligible
for ePass fee reimbursement must pay Rs. 1000/- for online self-reporting.

Help Line Centres are available to assist students for registering on DOST, resolving
mismatches of DOST Application Form with Aadhaar details, and correcting errors in
uploaded certificates.

single click, the system will display possible combinations of subjects to aid their
decision-making.

Facial authentication via DOST Mobile App for registration of ID generation. (This
feature is applicable only to students of TGBIE.)

An online grievance redressal system is available on DOST website to address issues
faced by students, if any
