Consequent upon the availability of few vacant seats, the list of candidates provisionally selected for admission to various 1-Year PG Programmes in the Cluster University of Srinagar for the academic session 2026-27, is hereby notified as per annexure- “A” to this notification

The selection of the candidates is strictly provisional subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria as determined and fixed by the university. Selected candidates are hereby informed to report to the Admission Section of the concern college shown against each for verification of documents and completion of their admission formalities from 12.10.2026 to 15.10.2026 upto 04:00PM.

1. The admission of the candidates is subject to production of following supporting documents:

i. Copy of the college Leaving Certificate attested by the principal or the authorized officer of the college concerned (provisional certificate); Original to be retained by the College;

ii. Self-attested photocopy of Character Certificate issued by the institution, last attended;

iii. Self-attested photocopy of Secondary School Examination (10th Class) certificate as a proof of Date of Birth;

iv. Self-attested photocopy of UG (4-Year Honours) examination (Marks Certificate) of all semesters;

v. Migration certificate (wherever applicable);

vi. The eligibility of the pass out candidates of UG (4-Year Honours) class other than Cluster University Srinagar shall be determined subject to the submission of Original Migration certificate from respective institutions and equivalence certificate of UG (4-Year Honours) Programme of concerned university (if required). The Admission Committee shall accordingly check the status of the university prior to their admission to the course/Programme in the respective College

2. The admission section of concerned college shall ensure that all the selected candidates are eligible to the programme in terms of the admission notification issued by the university and have category certificate (wherever applicable) issued by or before last date for submission of registration form. The same may be verified from the original certificates/documents, under intimation to university.

3. After verification of the documents, the Admission Committee of the College shall issue authority slip to the selected candidates for deposition of “Prescribed Annual Admission Fee in the university chest”. It is mandatory for college admission committee to submit university copy of the bank challan to the university so that subsequent selection list can be prepared.

4. The fee shall be submitted after verification of the documents which shall be notified separately.

5. The seats for reserved category have been allocated as per S.O 176 dated: 15-03- 2024 read with S.O 305, dated: 21-05-2024.

6. Any candidate who fails to complete the admission formalities within the above dateline shall forfeit the claim for admission and seat will be filled by the next candidate in order of merit.

7. No upgradation of programme/course as per preference given by the candidate shall be allowed in the second round, if the candidate fails to complete the admission formalities in the programme/course for which he/she has been selected in this list.

8. Admission section of the college shall collect original documents/ migration certificate from the candidates.

9. Sports category certificates should be verified by the PTIs, Programme Officers of NSS & NCC of the concerned colleges.

10. All the subsequent selection lists shall be available on the University website: www.cusrinagar.edu.in. Students are directed to check University website regularly

Note:

A) The admission of the candidate is purely provisional and mere inclusion of the credentials of the candidate in the annexure to this notification shall not confer any right for admission which is subject to their eligibility and further verification of their documents during admission process of registration. The candidature shall be liable to be cancelled in case any information furnished by any candidate proves to be false/fabricated, and action as warranted under law shall be initiated against such candidates;

B) It is hereby implored upon the admission section to ensure the veracity of documents, particularly the category certificates, wherever the admission is to be granted in lieu of particular reserved category. In case any candidate does not fulfill the benchmarks of eligibility as per notification he/she shall not be admitted to the course/programme;

C) The students must file Anti-Ragging undertaking available online at https://www.antiragging.in/ and Anti-Drug certificate available online at https://www.pledge.mygov.in.
