2nd List of Provisionally Selected Candidates for Admission to M.Tech. (Electrical Power System Management) (EPSM) 2025

The following candidates have been provisionally selected for admission in M46- M.Tech. (Electrical Power System Management) on the basis of aggregate of marks secured by them in the entrance test.

Admission will be granted subject to fulfillment of the prescribed eligibility requirements. Admission formalities are to be completed by selected candidates from 21-07-2025 to 22-07-2025 up to 04:00 pm in the Centre for Department of Electrical Engineering

At the time of admission, the selected candidates will submit the originals of the following along with a self-attested photocopy.

For Candidates provisionally selected on the basis of GATE Score
Candidate should bring original Valid GATE Score Card.
The Test paper of GATE exam should be in the relevant branch/area (to be verified by the department).
The department shall check the GATE score card online at the time of admission for verification from the GATE Portal.

Candidates should bring the downloaded admit card, registration form and two recent passport size photographs at the time of admission.

Proof of passing the qualifying examination together with the original marks sheet, in accordance with the eligibility requirements for admission as mentioned in prospectus.

Proof of age based on the certificate of High School/Secondary School or an Equivalent examination.

Proof of Permanent address (Voter ID Card, Passport, Driving License and Aadhar Card) as declared in the application form with the name of Police Station and District.

Muslim OBC and Muslim ST candidates will be required to submit their respective Category Certificate issued by the competent authority recently.

For candidates who have applied in the PWD category, certificate for disability is required from a Government Certified Authority.

Candidate seeking admission under Kashmiri Migrants Category will be required to submit a certificate in support of their claim of being Kashmiri Migrants obtained from registered Divisional Commissioner, of the concerned State

Candidate seeking admission under Jammu & Kashmir category will be required to submit a state- domicile certificate.

Character Certificate from the last school attended

Certificate from an MBBS doctor or Government hospital certifying blood group.

In case where many coursed/branch are in one Programme, the candidate will be allotted as per the preference filled in the application form, strictly as per merit and JMI admission rules. For upgradation of course/branch, the candidate has to take admission and fill a form at the time of admission if he/she wants to retain the allotted course/branch or want to upgrade. Upgradation will be done strictly as per merit and JMI admission rules. In no case, down gradation shall be allowed. The candidate is not allowed to change the preference after the form edit date is over.

In case an intervening/gap period is involved, the candidate has to submit a certificate/affidavit from class 1 Gazetted officer/Notary Public for the entire intervening/Gap period showing year-wise pre-occupation and non indulgence in any criminal activities after leaving the institution last attended.

The students must file Anti Ragging undertaking online on https://www.antiragging.in

The candidate should submit the counter foil of admission fee slip to concerned office of the Dean / Department / Centre after submission of fees.

For Programs whose eligibility is UG Program (like B.Sc. /B.A./B.Com. etc.), They must submit the required certificate etc. by 31.10.2025.

Provisionally selected candidates who fail to take admission within the stipulated period mentioned above shall not be considered for admission and no request to this effect shall be entertained.
