Corrigendum regarding PG Spot Admission, 2026

CORRIGENDUM

This is for the information of all concerned that, in the earlier Notification No. DEAN/PGFC/BKU/114/2026 dated 02.09.2026, the Academic Year was inadvertently mentioned as 2025–2026 instead of 2026–2027.

Accordingly, all concerned are hereby informed that the admission process referred to in the aforesaid notification shall be treated as applicable for the Academic Year 2026–2027.

It is further notified that candidates who have not applied earlier for admission to the following programmes may participate in the Spot Admission process against the vacant seats, subject to fulfilment of the prescribed eligibility criteria and availability of seats:

• M.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication; and
• Integrated Bachelor of Library & Information Science – Master of Library & Information Science.

However, in respect of the LL.M. Programme under the Department of Law, admission against the vacant seats shall be made only from amongst the candidates whose names have already appeared in the published Merit List. No candidate other than those included in the Merit List shall be considered for admission against the vacant seats.

All other terms and conditions contained in the earlier Notification No. DEAN/PGFC/BKU/114/2026 dated 02.09.2026 shall remain unchanged.

This corrigendum shall be read as an integral part of the aforesaid notification.
