Notification for PG verification of testimonials & Commencement of classes for Semester-I, 2026-27

The newly admitted students of Semester-I of the P.G. Courses of this University for the Academic Year 2026-27 are hereby informed that their offline classes will commence on and from 03^rd August, 2026.

The date of the Verification of testimonials-
03^rd August, 2026 to 10^th August, 2026
except Saturday, Sunday & Holidays).

For Verification of testimonials the students must bring:

• Downloaded Application Form
• Original Admit Card/Certificate & Mark Sheet of Secondary School Examination or equivalent.
• Original Mark Sheet of Higher Secondary School Examination or equivalent.
• Original Mark Sheet of Graduation / LL.B. etc.
• Original Payment Receipt generated during payment of admission fees.
• Original caste certificate if belonging from reserved category. OBC Category Candidates are required to produce a valid Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) Certificate issued for the current financial year, as applicable, at the time of document verification. Candidates must ensure that the certificate is valid and issued by the competent authority in accordance with the prevailing Government of West Bengal rules. Failure to produce a valid NCL Certificate of the current financial year may lead to cancellation of the OBC reservation claim.
• Original PH certificate if applicable.

The students are also instructed to bring one self-attested photocopy of all the documents stated above.

The venue for the classes of the Students of Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics will be at Main Campus Science Building, Bankura University and verification of testimonials in the office of the HOD of the respective departments.

The venue for the classes for all other courses will be Main Campus Academic Building, Bankura University and verification of testimonials in the office of the HOD of the respective departments.

The venue for the classes of the Students for Santali Medium of Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics will be at Main Campus Science Building, Bankura University and verification of testimonials in the office of the Coordinator PG Santali Vernacular at Main Campus Academic Building Bankura University.

The venue for the verification of testimonials of the Students for Santali Medium of Geography and Philosophy at the office of the Coordinator PG Santali Vernacular, Main Campus Academic Building Bankura University and Classes will be held at Puabagan Campus, Bankura University.

The venue for the verification and classes of the students admitted in different P.G. Colleges affiliated to Bankura University will be their respective colleges.

The verification of percentage of marks obtained in the honours degree by the students should be verified as per the published notification regarding “determine of percentage of marks in honours” on the University website.
