Admission to One-Year Self-financing Diploma Programmes for January-December 2026

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to One-year Self-financing Diploma Programme(s) in the prescribed format. The applicants must fill up the Application Form through the link for admission to One-year Self-financing Diploma Programme, for January-December 2026 within 20th May, 2026 to 29th May, 2026 and submit the requisite application fee as given in the Information Booklet .

  • Programme offered:
    • Diploma Programme in Santali Folk
    • Diploma Programme in Sculpture
  • The Minimum Eligibility to Apply for Admission: All candidates who have passed 10+2 Examination are eligible to apply for the Diploma Programme.
  • All payment will be made through electronic mode linked to the portal only.
  • The application fee: Rs. 100/- (Rs. one hundred only).

    • Mark-sheet of Higher Secondary Examination.
    • Caste Certificate (where necessary).
    • PH Certificate (where necessary).
    • Economically Weaker Section (EWS) (where necessary).

General Instructions
  • Candidates are required to go through the Information Booklet carefully before proceeding for application.
  • Once an application is received, it will be considered that the candidate agrees to all terms & conditions stipulated in the Information Booklet, notices published and rules & regulations of the Bankura University for the said purpose.
  • Please provide the current mobile number and e-mail ID for future communication.
  • All the information must match exactly with the school admit cards, mark sheets,certificates, photo identity cards, caste/category certificates etc.
  • Do not make any attempt to make any duplicate application.
  • This Merit List will contain the names of all the eligible Candidates on the basis of the Marks obtained/percentage of marks in 10+2 examination. Best five (5) of the 10+2 examination’s Subjects must be adopted for calculating the total marks and percentage. In case of equal marks in 10+2 examination results, total marks/percentage of marks of immediately preceding examination is to be taken into account for ranking and after that the date of birth where the marks secured by the candidates there is the same. In case wherever only Four (4) subject are offered by any recognized Board/Council etc, as the case may be in 10+2 examination, first Language will be doubled to prepare the merit list on the basis of best five of 10+2 examination subjects as stated earlier.
  • The candidates who will not take the admission as per the admission list published by this University, their candidature will not be considered for any further admission process.
  • If required, subsequent admission list will be published after the publication of first admission list.
  • Reserved Category Students may be asked to use their choice whether they intend to get admission by opting general list or through reserved Category.
  • Confirmation of admission of a student is subject to the verification of his/her original testimonials which will be initiated only after giving proper notice in due course. Admission is liable to be cancelled if any discrepancies found in any document or information provided by the candidates during the process of admission at any time/stage.
  • University is not liable to any kind of delay/failure and/or/both fall/slow down/obstruction of internet connection at the time of transaction.
  • In case of any discrepancy the decision of the appropriate authority of the university shall be final.
