Revised Schedule and Modalities for PG Admission, 2026-2028

In Continuation of earlier notification Vide No. FC(Arts)/PG Admission/2026/21, Dated, 17th June, 2026, it is hereby notified for information of all concerned that as per decision taken by the PG Admission committee 2026-2028 and duly approved by the competent authority:

• Last date of submission of online application forms for admission to the said Programme has been extended up to 16/07/2026.
• Entrance Test for admission to the said Programme has been abandoned.
• Students, having Anthropology Honours/Major, shall be eligible for admission to the subjects under life science category in CBCS or older mode and Anthropology Major (with atleast 60 credits)/Minor (with atleast 12 credits) for all subjects under NEP 2020.
• Admission Schedule of both the faculties has been revised as appended below:

  9	Publication of Online Counselling Notice under Faculty Council (Science) (Phase-2) if necessary	27/08/2026 (Date of Counselling: 29/08/2026
  10	Payment of Phase-2 for Provisionally Selected Candidates	30/08/2026 to 31/08/2026 midnight
  The university can revise the calendar, if needs arise and the same will be notified on the university website.
