Admission Notification for 2-year PG Mass Communication, 2026-2028 of the Category-C candidate

ADMISSION TO 2-YEAR PG COURSES OF STUDIES IN MASS COMMUNICATION UNDER THE
FACULTY COUNCIL (ARTS, COMMERCE, LAW, MUSIC ETC.) FOR THE SESSION 2026-2028
UNDER NEP-2020

Important information and instructions to the candidates:

• Provisional Merit (Rank) List for the Subject, Mass Communication, under the Faculty of Arts etc. is published for information of the candidate concerned under Category-C who has qualified for the Online Entrance Test, held on 24.09.2026, for admission to the 2-year P.G. Course of Studies for the session 2026-2028.
• Grade Point has been computed based on the Percentage marks of the Average of the SGPAs from 1st Semester to 5th Semester in UG Programme.
• Admissions shall be made strictly based on merit.
• Provisional Merit (Rank) List for Admission to 2-Year PG Course of Studies in Mass Communication under NEP 2020 for the Session 2026-2028 under the Faculty of Arts etc. is based on the information provided by the candidate. It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to ensure and adhere to the eligibility criteria prescribed in the Information Brochure of the 2-Year PG Admission 2026 under Arts Faculty, available on the University Website. In case of any incorrect/false input provided by the candidate, the candidature will stand cancelled.
• The Provisionally selected candidate must produce final Grade Card/ Mark Sheet of successful completion of Undergraduate Programme at the time of Document Verification and must fulfil the Minimum Eligibility Criteria. Failure to produce the required documents or to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria or the inputs furnished by them are not in conformity with the originals documents, will result in the cancellation of admission.
• The link for proceeding with online admission and the payment of admission fees of Rupees 8,460/- will be activated on 29/09/2026 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M.
• Admission shall be confirmed only after the verification of the data/documents of the candidate.
• The University reserves the right to rectify the list if an error is detected arising out of technical reasons and includes any deserving candidate, if it is found that due to mistake on the part of the University, the name of such candidate has not been enlisted.
• The University reserves all the rightsto drop or exclude any candidate or cancel the candidature of the candidate at any stage of admission and at a later stage, if it is found that the candidate has entered any of his/her data fraudulently/incorrectly at the time of submission of online application form for admission to any Subject/Programme under the Faculty Council (Arts etc.), B.U.
