Programme-wise Qualifying Degrees:

5-Year Integrated M.Sc. (Tech.) in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary or equivalent) examination from a recognised Board with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. Admissions shall be made through JEE (Main), WBJEE or any other recognised National / State-level Engineering Entrance Examination approved by the University, in accordance with the prescribed admission policy.
1-Year Postgraduate Diploma in Big Data and Cyber Security B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engineering) / B.Sc. (Tech.) in any branch of Engineering or Technology; B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electronics, Physics, Mathematics or Statistics; BCA; B.Sc. (IT); B.Sc. in Cyber Security; B.Sc. in Software Systems; BBA; LLB; B.Com.; Bachelor's Degree with Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science as one of the subjects.
1-Year Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Instrumentation and Imaging Technology B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engineering) / B.Sc. (Tech.) in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science or allied disciplines; B.Sc. in Physics, Electronics, Zoology, Botany, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Physiology or Life Sciences; MBBS; BDS; BAMS; BHMS; BUMS; BPT; BOT; B.Sc. Nursing; Pharm.; BMLT; B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology; B.Sc. Radiology and Imaging Technology; B.Sc. Operation Theatre Technology or allied health science programmes.
2-Year Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Disaster Mitigation and Management B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engineering) / B.Sc. (Tech.) in any branch; B.Sc. in Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, Earth Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science; Bachelor's Degree in Disaster Management,Agriculture, Forestry, Architecture or Planning; Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Sociology, Political Science, Public Administration, Social Work, Rural Development, Business Administration, Environmental Studies or allied disciplines.
1-Year Postgraduate Diploma in Indian Knowledge System and Heritage Engineering Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University in any discipline. The programme is multidisciplinary in nature and is open to graduates from Science, Engineering, Technology, Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce, Management, Education, Fine Arts and other allied disciplines.
Mode of Selection:
5-Year Integrated M. Sc. (Tech.) in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence:
  • Eligibility:
    • Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board with Mathematics.
    • The candidate must have secured Minimum 45% aggregate marks or 40% for reserved categories.
    • Admission to the Programme shall be based on merit determined through any of the following:
      - Seat-Category A: A valid JEE (Main) 2026 Common Rank List (CRL) rank based on the Final NTA Score;
      - Seat-Category B: A valid General Merit Rank (GMR) in WBJEE 2026;
      - Seat-Category C: A valid rank/score in any other National or State-level Engineering Entrance Examination recognised by the University.
  • Separate merit lists will be prepared for each admission category and allocation of seats shall be as follows:
    • Seat-Category A: 30%; Seat-Category B: 50%; Seat-Category C:20%
  • Vacancies remaining unfilled in any admission category may be filled from other seat category in accordance with the approved conversion policy, subject to the applicable reservation rules.
1-Year Postgraduate Diploma & 2-Year Advanced Postgraduate Diploma Programmes:
  • The programme-specific eligibility criteria have been provided in the preceding section.
  • Admission to the following programmes shall be made on the basis of Academic Merit:
    • 2-Year Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Disaster Mitigation and Management
    • 1-Year Postgraduate Diploma in Big Data and Cyber Security
    • 1-Year Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Instrumentation and Imaging Technology
    • 1-Year Postgraduate Diploma in Indian Knowledge System and Heritage Engineering
  • Preparation of Merit List
    The merit list shall be prepared on the basis of a Composite Merit Score, computed by assigning: 60% weightage to the percentage of marks obtained in the Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination, calculated on the basis of the best four (04) subjects, each carrying 100 full marks; and 40% weightage to the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying Bachelor's Degree examination.
