Broad list of applicants for Admission to 2-Year PG Courses (Round-2) under the Faculty Council (Arts, Commerce, Law, Music etc.), 2026-2028

Important Information to the Candidates:

• Subject/Programme wise Provisional Broad List of applicants for admission to the 2 Year PG Courses of Studies (Round-2) in various Subjects/Programmes under the Faculty of Arts etc. is published for information of all the concerned candidates, which is a system generated list.
• The Seat Preference in the Broad List has been published specifying
  • Category A, whose applied PG Subject is same as the Major/ Honours subject at the UG level under NEP 2020, CBCS or any other UGC recognized previous system.
  • Category B, whose applied PG Subject is same as the Minor subject at the UG level under NEP 2020.
  • Category C, whose applied PG Subject is neither a Major/Honours nor a Minor at the UG Level under NEP 2020.
  • Single Category for Multidisciplinary Subjects/Programmes.
• Provisional Broad Lists for the Subjects/Programmes under the Faculty of Arts etc. are based on the information provided by the candidates on the basis of the criteria as prescribed in the Information Brochure of the PG Admission 2026 (Round-2) under Arts Faculty, available on the University Website. It is the sole responsibility of the candidates to ensure and adhere to the prescribed eligibility.
• The names of the candidates and other relevant details, submitted by the candidates, have been extracted from the online submission for the preparation of the Provisional Broad lists. In case of any incorrect/false input provided, the candidature of the candidate will stand cancelled.
• The enlisted candidates are asked to check the relevant lists. If any discrepancy, between the data shown in the list and the data furnished by the candidates, is found, they are advised to contact the office of the undersigned through mail only (secretary_arts@buruniv.ac.in) by 02:00 P.M. on 24.07.2026 with proper evidences/documents.
• The University reserves the right to rectify the list if an error is detected arising out of technical reasons and include any deserving candidate, if it is found that due to mistake on the part of the University, the name of such candidate has not been enlisted.
• Provisional Broad Merit (Rank) List (Round-2) for various Subjects/Programmes will be published on 30/09/2026 on the University website.
• Notice for online Sessions of Merit-Based Selection (Online Counselling) for Admission to 2 Year PG Course of Studies (Round-2) in various Subjects/Programmes under Faculty Council of Arts, etc. will be published on 02/10/2026 on the University website only.
• Broad list of applicants for Admission to various 2 Year PG Courses of Studies (Round 2) under the Faculty Council (Arts, Commerce, Law, Music etc.) for the Session 2026-2028.
