Admission to M.Ed. and M.P.Ed. Course of Studies for the Session 2026-2028
Under Faculty Council Science, Arts, Commerce, Law, Music etc.

Online applications are invited from the eligible intending candidates for admission to the M.Ed. and M.P.Ed. Courses of Studies for the Session 2026-2028 under Faculty Council (Arts, Commerce, Law etc.), The University of Burdwan. Online form will be available on the University website (www.buruniv.ac.in ) on and from 08/09/2026 to 21/09/2026.
Eligibility Criteria for Admission to M.Ed. and M.P.Ed. Courses of Studies: Online applications are invited from
- B.Ed. / B.A. B.Ed. / B.Sc. B.Ed. / B.El.Ed. Degree or Undergraduate Degree with D.El.Ed. Course from a NCTE approved Centre of Studies under a UGC recognized University for admission to M.Ed. Course of Studies and
- B.P.Ed. / BPE from a NCTE approved Centre of Studies under a UGC recognized University for admission to PG Course of Studies in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) under Faculty Council (Arts, Commerce, Law, Music etc.) for the session 2026-2028.
MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY FOR APPLICATION - 50% MARKS FOR UNRESERVED AND 45% FOR SC, ST, OBC-NCL, DA, SP, EWS IN THE QUALIFYING EXAMINATION.
Applications of the candidates failing to fulfil minimum eligibility criteria of admission, will be rejected.
PRIOR TO FILLING OUT THE APPLICATION FORM READ THE INFORMATION BROCHURE THOROUGHLY.
Candidates must have ready a passport size photograph, scanned copies of his/her signature, admit card of 10th standard, marksheets of all examinations, reserved category certificate (if applicable) and other required document for uploading during filling the form.
Candidate should ensure that the Submission Status of the Application is “Successful” and retain a copy of the Application Form after Successful Submission.

After successful completion of Anti-Ragging undertaking, take the Anti-Ragging Undertaking Reference Number to be used in filling up the Online Application Form. You may retain a printout of acknowledgement of Anti-Ragging undertaking to be submitted at the time of commencement of classes, if admitted.
