Admission to 2-Year PG Course of Studies (Round-2) for the Session 2026-2028 Under Faculty Council (Science)

• Online applications are invited from the eligible intending candidates for admission to the 2-Year PG Courses of Studies Under NEP 2020 for the Session 2026-2028 (Round-2) in Different Subjects under Faculty Council (Science), The University of Burdwan. Online form will be available in the University website (www.buruniv.ac.in ) on and from 04/09/2026 to 20/09/2026.
• Eligibility criteria for admission to 2-Year PG Course of Studies: Online applications are invited from a successful student of a 3-Year Undergraduate Programme under CCFUP of NEP 2020 or a candidate exiting after successful completion of the third year of a 4-Year UG Programme under CCFUP of NEP 2020 or 3-Year Honours Programme (under CBCS or any other UGC recognized system) or equivalent for admission to various 2-Year PG Courses of Studies (NEP 2020) under Faculty Council (Science) for the session 2026-2028.
• MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY FOR APPLICATION: For Unreserved Category candidates, minimum 50% Marks or its equivalent grade “B” in a point scale (Minimum CGPA 5.00) in the UG Programme and for SC/ST/OBC (Noncreamy Layer) /DA/SP/EWS Category candidates there shall be relaxation of 5% marks i.e. the minimum 45% Marks or CGPA 4.50 in the UG Programme from any UGC recognized University.
• Applications of the candidates failing to fulfil minimum eligibility criteria of admission will be rejected.
• PRIOR TO FILLING UP THE APPLICATION FORM READ THE INFORMATION BROCHURE THOROUGHLY.
• Candidates must keep ready a passport size photograph, scanned copies of his/her signature, admit card of 10th standard, mark sheets of all examinations, reserved category certificate (if applicable) and other required document for uploading during filling the form.
• Candidate should ensure that the Submission Status of the Application is “Successful” and retain a copy of the Application Form after Successful Submission.

• After successful completion of Anti-Ragging undertaking, take the Anti-Ragging Undertaking Reference Number to be used in fill up the Online Application Form.
  You may retain a print out of acknowledgement of Anti-Ragging undertaking to be submitted at the time of commencement of classes, if admitted.
