Important Information to the candidates:

• A system generated subject wise Provisional Broad Lists under the Faculty Council (Science) are published for information of all the concerned candidates.
• The Seat Category:
  • Category A, whose applied PG Subject is same as the Major/Honours subject at the UG level.
  • Category B, whose applied PG Subject is same as the Minor subject at the UG level with at least 12 credits.
  • Category C, whose applied PG Subject is neither a Major/Honours nor a Minor at the UG Level.
• Provisional Broad Lists for the Subjects under the Faculty Council (Science) are based on the information provided by the candidates on the basis of the criteria prescribed in the Information Brochure of the PG Admission 2026-28 (Round-2) under Faculty Council (Science), available in the University Website. It is the sole responsibility of the candidates to ensure and adherence to the prescribed eligibility.
• The names of the candidates and other relevant details submitted by the candidates have been extracted from the online submission for the preparation of the Provisional Broad lists. In case of any incorrect/false input provided by any candidate, the candidature of the candidate will stand cancelled.
• The enlisted candidates are asked to check the relevant list. If any discrepancy between the data shown in the list and the data furnished by the candidates is found, they are advised to contact the office of the undersigned through mail only (support_sc.pgadmission2024@buruniv.ac.in) by 02:00 P.M. of 24/09/2026 with proper evidence.
• Important Dates:
  • Provisional Broad Merit List (Rank List) will be published on 25/09/2026.
  • Publication of Online Counselling Notice under Faculty Council (Science) (Phase-1) will be published on 25/09/2026.
