Provisional Broad Merit list for Admission to B.Ed. Course under the Faculty Council Arts for the Session 2026-2028

Important Information and Instructions to the Candidates:

• Provisional Broad Merit (Rank) List for admission to B.Ed. Course of Study at BU Campus under the Faculty of Arts etc. is published for information of all the concerned.
• Provisional Broad Merit (Rank) List for admission to B.Ed. Course of Study at BU Campus under the Faculty of Arts etc. is based on the information provided by the candidates as per the criteria prescribed in the Information Brochure of the B.Ed. Admission 2026 under Arts Faculty, available on the University Website. It is the sole responsibility of the candidates to ensure and adhere to the prescribed eligibility.




• The names and other relevant details have been extracted from the online submissions of the candidates for preparation of the Provisional Broad Rank lists. In case of any incorrect/false input provided by the candidates, their candidature will stand cancelled.
• In cases where the candidates for a Subject / Group of Subjects secure equal grade points, preference has been given on the basis of the following Tie-Breaking steps:
  • Step-I: Higher % Marks of UG Examinations
  • Step-II: Higher % Marks of 12^th Std. (10+2) Examination
  • Step-III: Higher % Marks of 10^th Std. Examination
  • Step-IV: Date of Birth Signifying Seniority in age, with older candidate getting preference
• Notice for Merit-Based Selection (Phase-1) for Admission through online Counselling will be published on 30.09.2026 on the university website and the Online Counselling will be held on 13.10.2026.
• The link for proceeding with online admission and the payment of admission fees will be activated after the Online Counselling Session for Merit-Based Selection (Phase-1).
• Allocation / Online Merit-Based Selection, based on the Broad Merit (Rank) List, is provisional and only after the verification of the data / documents of the candidate, the admission shall be confirmed.
• The University reserves the right to rectify the list(s) if any error is detected arising out of technical reasons.
• The University reserves all the rights to include any deserving candidate, if it is found that due to mistake on the part of the University, the name of such candidate has not been enlisted.
• The University reserves all the rights to drop or exclude any candidate or cancel the candidature of any candidate at any stage of admission and at a later stage, if it is found that the candidate has entered any of his/her data fraudulently/incorrectly at the time of submission of online application form for admission to any course under the Faculty Council (Arts etc.), B.U.
