Applications are invited from eligible graduates/post-graduates of the University of Calcutta who passed the final examination in the stream of Arts / Technology / Agriculture / Commerce / Business Management / Social Science / Basic Sciences / Marine Science / Literature / Law / Microbiology / Molecular Biology / Bio-tech / Bio-Sciences / Fine Arts / Applied Arts / Nursing / Medicine or any other course offered time-to-time by the University of Calcutta for the award of the Endowment Travelling / Foreign Scholarships/Fellowships for the year 2026-2027 for study/training abroad in the relevant field of studies. Students who have already secured admission in reputed institutions abroad would be given preference. Students who has availed this scholarship is not be entitled to apply for this Scholarship for three consecutive years. “Preference shall be given only to students; those holding permanent positions are not eligible to apply”

The format of application may be downloaded from the University website (www.caluniv.ac.in) under ‘News and Announcement Column’. The filled in form with six set of photocopies of the said application form with one attested set of relevant documents must be submitted, within 30 working days (excluding the Government Holidays) from the publishing date of advertisement at the office of undersigned on any working day between 12 noon to 4 p.m.

An amount of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred) only towards application fees be paid by way of SBI collect under “Calcutta University online Payment sub head ‘Payment for MISC Fees/Fees for Foreign Travel Scholarship’”. A receipt of the same needs to be attached while submitting the duly filled-in and signed form within due date to the office of the Estate and Trust Office, 87/1, College Street, 3rd floor, Darbhanga Building, Kolkata-700073.
