LIBRARY INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME – 2026

In pursuance of the approval accorded by the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University, applications are hereby invited from eligible candidates for engagement as Library Interns in the University Library under the Library Internship Programme, 2026.

The Internship Programme is intended to provide practical exposure and professional experience in various activities and services of an academic library to eligible candidates of the Department of Library & Information Science, Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University, including candidates belonging to the pending batches as well as the current batch, subject to fulfilment of the prescribed eligibility criteria.

Eligible and interested candidates are requested to submit their applications in the prescribed format, along with self-attested copies of the relevant testimonials/documents, to the University Library, Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University, within 12^th September 2026.

Candidates appearing for the Viva-Voce/Personal Interview shall be required to produce their original certificates/testimonials for verification.

This notification is applicable only to candidates who have passed the Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) programme from Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University during the Academic Sessions 2022–23, 2023–24, 2024–25 and 2025–26.
