Notification for Mop-Up Counselling (Phase-III) for Admission to PG, BLIS & MLIS Courses, 2026-2027

It is hereby notified for general information to all concerned, especially those who have applied through the online platform for PG, BLIS & MLIS Courses under the Academic Session 2026-27 (Phase-III), that an MOP-UP COUNSELLING will be held on 24/09/2026 & 25/09/2026 from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon for the subjects mentioned below.

This counselling is only for candidates who were not allotted any seat in Phase-III merit list.

The provisional list of vacant seats as on 17/09/2026 (which may increase subject to cancellation, transfer, or shifting of earlier admitted candidates) for different categories and courses is appended as an attachment.

  • Venue of Mop-Up Counselling for Main Campus & Second Campus: Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University, Panchanan Nagar, Vivekananda Street, Cooch Behar – 736101.
  • Admission shall be subject to verification of all particulars furnished in the admission form and fulfillment of the eligibility criteria by the candidate. The decision of the University in this regard shall be final.
  • Candidates selected for admission shall have to deposit the prescribed admission fees on the respective date of counselling, i.e. 24/09/2026 or 25/09/2026.
  • The prescribed admission fees shall be deposited in Cash at the University Cash Counter.
• The candidate shall have to submit the following documents and testimonials in original with one set of self-attested copies at the time of counseling failing which the candidature shall be cancelled:
  • Graduation Final Mark-sheet / Academic Transcripts.
  • Graduation Registration Certificate/ Migration Certificate.
  • Higher Secondary Mark-sheet / Academic Transcripts.
  • Secondary Mark-sheet / Academic Transcripts.
  • Secondary Admit Card.
  • Caste Certificate (to avail reservation facility) from appropriate authority as per Govt. Rule.
  • PH Certificate (to avail reservation facility) from appropriate authority as per Govt. Rule.
